As an attorney since 1993, Catherine Hammond provides estate and legacy planning services to individuals and businesses. Catherine’s primary focus is passing on your true wealth: the wisdom, values, and other elements which, along with your assets, will help your heirs be successful, too. She combines her personal, legal, and coaching expertise to help people plan for and walk through difficult seasons in life, including illness, disability, and death. As a transformational coach, she leads people into living more fully, bravely, and beautifully.
The heart-wrenching experience of her mother’s journey with Alzheimer’s Disease, beginning when Catherine was still a teenager, inspired her to spend her life helping others navigate life’s challenges legally, practically, and emotionally.
In 2005, fulfilling her dreams as a counselor and planner, Catherine founded Hammond Law Group PC, voted three times as best attorney in Colorado Springs by the readers of the CS Independent. Hammond Law Group focuses on protecting families from the devastating legal effects of disability and death through creating comprehensive, values-based estate and legacy plans and maintaining lifelong relationships with their clients.
Catherine has served on the Board of Governors for the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, the Springs Rescue Mission, and the Cerebral Palsy Association of Colorado Springs. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Colorado Springs Estate Planning Council, and WealthCounsel.
Catherine is the author of two books, the first Planning Your Legacy, a guidebook on estate planning in Colorado, and the second titled Hope(less): The truth about hope and where to find it. She is married to the love of her life, Brian, and together they enjoy hiking, traveling, and hanging out with their four grandchildren.
